    جالب ترین ویژگی این نرم افزار را می توان گشت وگذار در تمام عالم هستی از جمله کهکشان ها و ستاره گان و سیارات و خوشه های ستاره ای باز و بسته و سحابی ها به صورت سه بعدی دانست.
    برای مثال می توانید به درون کهکشان های دیگر رفته و ستارگان و سیارات موجود در آن ها را از نزدیک مشاهده کنید، به دورن سیاه چاله ها سقوط کنید، وارد خوشه های ستاره ای شوید، به سطح تمام ستارگان و سیارات وارد شوید و سفینه ای بسازید و با آن به گشت و گذار بپردازید.


    space engine یک برنامه شبیه سازی رایگان است که برای شما امکان کاوش در جهان هستی را به صورت سه بعدی فراهم می کند. از سیاره زمین گرفته تا دورترین کهکشان ها. از طریق ایننرم افزار میلیون ها کهکشان، میلیاردها ستاره و سیاره های بیشماری برای اکتشاف در دسترس شما قرار خواهد گرفت. این نرم‌افزار به شما اجازه می‌دهد که به صورت سه‌بعدی و شبیه‌سازی شده عرصه گیتی را طی کنید و از اقیانوس‌ها و کوه‌های زمین تا کهکشان‌های دور را درنوردید. شما می‌توانید با این برنامه سوار شاتل فضایی یا کاوشگرهای فضایی مجازی بشوید و ماه و سیاره‌ها و سیارک‌ها را با جلوه گرافیکی تحسین‌برانگیزی ببینید.
